First thing that comes to mind is to check you PP account and change password there too.
Are all your details correct (address, email, link PP account etc).

    What a nightmare!
Have they made any purchases? If so you may want to contact the buyers to warn them.
    Any items already sold?
  • ive change my ebay passowrd but not pp one as that is different anyhow.

    details all seem correct.

nothing actually sold or bought other then the classified ad posted.

the waiting time on live chat has gone up to over an 1 hour!!!

is there any other way to contact ebay.. a phone number or email??

If you go through the help system on ebay eventually it gives you a telephone number to call.

I would strongly suggets you change all your passwords, not just the ebay one. The last lot of hacks were via webmail and once someone has access to your email account they have access to a great many things. Once this is all sorted I would also suggest you get over to the techie board and get advice on a very thorough deep clean of your pC, just in case .

I agree about changing all your passwords, my ebay got hacked twice though luckily ebay flagged it up and suspened my account, i had to go onto live chat to resolve it but they were very helpful, also advised my to change my email password, i also had pp and bank account hacked all in the space of 2-3 weeks so had to change all my passwords.

If this was recent then you need to get the tech board to talk you through a thorough clean as you may have something hiding on your pC. Getting hacked once can be explained by a lack of security measures, twice shows something more serious is going on.
