webcamera for skype

Pl can somebody recommend a budget webcamera to use with skype or an earphone with micro instead of headset? Just wonder if your laptop comes with a webcamera, is there a micro built in or you do need to get one? Thanks

I picked one up for a friend at Asda for £3.99 a couple of months ago. They also had headsets below and above that price. The webcam works fine.

  • I'm a fan of logitech cams, they may be a little more expensive, but they work and the image quality is often much better in all lighting than cheaper alternatives.

Thanks, really want one with good sound, not too keen on the camera as sometimes you do not always look your best. I do not mind using a headset but the sound is not very good.

as DBE said, the Logitech are slightly more dear but excellent quality -- both webcam and sound .
