Zip hydrotap problems

Hi I have a zip hydrotap and it is starting to cost a fortune in repairs apparantly because of a build up of limescale, each time it goes wrong you are talking of a few hundred pounds to put it right, I am beginning to think its not worth bothering with anymore, does anyone else have one and if so do you experience problems with it, is there anyway of getting it put right without having to go direct to the supplier, loved it at first but now very despondent with it:mad:

Other than filter your water again or fit a magnetic scale inhibitor before it gets there there is not a lot else you can do.
But then again you could always get rid of it.
Edit: I have read reviews. Not good for maintenance costs. Not Again0
