    How does 2 free nights accomodation help?

    But to be honest I don't see why any compo is due.

    Life lesson learnt - never let hubby do the last sweep of any hotel room before checkout ever again!

    I have read all replies and am going to push for more nights free accom'. Explaining long haul flights involved etc (thanks goldengill)

    The hotel is a HUGE 5* casino chain, and is constantly comping big gamblers weeks of free accom'- so I feel they could stretch to it.

    What makes me feel I need to push for more that 2 nights is that the hotel policy states that left items in rooms are held for thirty days from checkout - and we were denied this (a perk I feel we paid for with 5* rates!)

    I also take on board that it would be coslty/complicated to take it any further.
