Hi Can anyone help please? I have to enter a large amount of HLookup formulas and want to know if there is a quick way of doing it. With normal Excel formul you can enter the formula in one cell then drag down the column and the formulas will be entered and the cell reference auto changes. However with my HLookup formulas I have to manually change the 3 to 4 then to 5 then to 6 ect. I have nearly 300 foumulas to do so would really like a quick fix if possible to help prevent RSI and my failling eyesight!
Example
=HLOOKUP($A$2,$C$1:$E$7,3,FALSE)
=HLOOKUP($A$2,$C$1:$E$7,4,FALSE)
=HLOOKUP($A$2,$C$1:$E$7,5,FALSE)
=HLOOKUP($A$2,$C$1:$E$7,6,FALSE)
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

You could probably do something with the row() function
for example
=hlookup($a$2,$c$1:$e$7,row(),false)
or
=hlookup($a$2,$c$1:$e$7,row()+5,false)0 -
...or, copy/paste special - formulas
......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

or have a seperate column next to the formulas with 1,2,3 etc in them and then link to that. The 1,2,3 would autofill so you wouldn't have to type them all in.The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0
