Large shop monitor to tv?

Hi there, just after alittle advise, the shop I work for was chucking out a plasma display monitor, theres no scart plug in the back but is it possible to convert it somehow to use it as a tv?

    Assuming it has a HDMI input you just need a freeview box with an HDMI output

    If you're not capable of getting the model number of it and researching it briefly on Google, I'll bet you're not up for the hassle of getting it working!
    Are you sure that serial port isn't VGA? You'll have a lot of work to get a seperate Freeview box to output VGA, and you'll have to deal with the sound seperately I'd imagine.
    Best bet would be a SCART to composite or S-Video lead, that'll be the recangular SCART connector going to red and white (for audio) and a yellow (composite) or small 5-pin plug (S-Video, the higher quality of the 2).
    Note though that this screen may not be HD, and may not have speakers, so you'd have to deal with the sound seperately.
    I'd take it and have a tinker anyway!
