Hoping for some advice in order to make my mind up, undecided in what to do really
I already have a Post Office card but was wondering if it's worth trying for a Clarity card instead? We're off to the US in late November and just looking at our options seeing as my Nationwide card will have changed then
I've read Martins guide and this thread here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...it+card&page=2 which answered quite a few questions, just after more feedback as to weather it's worth trying for the Clarity seeing as i have a PO card already.
Finally, would i have to inform the company that i'll be away when i intend to use it?
Ta:)

Just to say I've used Nationwide Visa, PO and Zero in the US without a problem. I have never bothered to notify them in advance.
As you probably know, the PO online system is pretty dire. I used to have a Halifax (non Clarity) card and the online system was better. So assuming the Clarity deal really is as promised then I'd go with Clarity over PO. But bear in mind declines do seem to happen alot (though not to me) so I'd take all of them if possible!0 -

Yes, you do have to ring Halifax if you intend to use your card overseas.0
