Where is the passion?

Has anyone else noticed the absence of passion in Labour's opposition to the Government cuts?

  • I reckon Alan has spoken pretty well about it when iv seen him, maybe as they are not get as much coverage due to the fact its all about spending cuts and what the tories are saying.

Personally David Milliand would have been so much better in opposition as he speaks intelligently and gets his point across clearly something Ed lacks, but Ed is about fairness and will appeal to big groups in society.

Either way my votes with Labour in next election!

^^^^ Retard. Have you got a full set of chromosomes and a functioning brain?

A vote for Labour is a vote for state bankrupcy.

You can only have what you can pay for thicko.

What you have to remember is all politicians are lying thieves.

    left/right or labour/coservative doesn't matter.

The only thing that they care about is being elected.

After all this, the books may very well have to be re-written

I think we are all on page one of chapter one, and the page is blank

Maybe that explains the lack of passion

yes i agree the books are currently being re-written

the lack of passion i think is down to the fact that they handed us the sh1tty end of the stick and they dont want to admit it

I think the Labour party is enjoying the chance to relax for a year or three whilst the government tries in vain to pin the responsibility for a global commercial failure onto an individual national government which was led by a couple of guys (Brown and Darling) who are generally credited with having dealt pretty effectively with the near-meltdown of the banking system

My hope is that the Labour party will be standing by, ready to swing into action, when UK voters finally wake up to reality, and begin to demand that the banks should give back some of the zillions of pounds which they took out of our economy in order to save their own skins

The reason they aren't saying much in opposition is because they'd either have done exactly the same or worse bankrupted the country. Best to stay quiet and not get involved, then when the Conservatives have got things back on track next election they can scream about the nasty cuts they did and say they had no part in it.

We have one the lowest debt per gdp ratios out of the g8 countries and the Tories matched pound for pound Labours spending so the country would still have been "bankrupt". Maybe you want to blame labour for all the other countries which are suffering alot worse than us e.g. Greece, France, USA??? ...retard.

There is zero certainty about the outcome of the government's cuts. The whole thing is a massive gamble. The situation was created by the banks, and yet the banks get richer by the day while the government stands by and says nothing. You and I are about to start paying the price.

    It's time to wake up
