Once you get out into the sticks,
it's Vodaphone and O2, and a little way behind are Orange.
For the rest, climb the highest hill and light a fire.
Oh, and bring a blanket in case you need to talk to someone.0 -
def loving 3 now that i've changed been with o2 and orange and all been ok but never able to get a signal in my place of work, now its great also the price is lot less than other networks 12 month contract with 500 mins and unlimited text for 25quid a month. Orange and o2 charge 35 for same.
also 3 have agreement with orange that if their signal goes they use their masts so pretty good coverage guarantee0 -
The comments about '3' confuse me a bit because, as other posters have highlighted, a '3' phone will roam onto another (O2 I thought) network if '3' signal is lost. As such '3' will provide coverage entirely the equal of O2 PLUS any little extra areas which '3' cover and O2 do not. I certainly see the evidence of this, within NI I have yet to have a 'no signal' with the three network.2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.0 -

3 used to bounce onto o2 networks but now uses orange, possibly for older customers they still use o2 not sure of when they changed over0
