same thing happened to me with Paypal. although paypal had no reason to touch my account. it seems like now abbey, BB and A&L r now 'Santander' all old D/D names, e.t.c don't match up. i don't know if its at the receivers end tho or santander.0

I got a letter from ING saying that my bank (Alliance and Leicester / Santender) had informed them that I'd moved bank accounts so they were canceling my Direct Debit. I didn't pursue it though because I wanted to close my ING account anyway. Haven't had any other problems with DDs though.0
