Selling Christmas items - when to sell

I have some Christmas baby dressing up outfits to put on ebay. Was wondering if anyone had any tips on the best time to try and sell them in order to achieve the maximum amount for them. Don't want to try to early or too late. I haven't sold on ebay recently as it seems like a lot of effort at the moment to try to make a few pence, anyone else feel like this. Thanks;)

Assuming you have a few to sell I would start 2nd or 3rd week of November. See how it goes and ramp up as you approach Christmas. Try to be sold out by about 15th -16th December and make sure for late sales you point out the dangers of cheques clearing and getting lost in post. Also offer Special Delivery especially the closer you get to Christmas when buyers are starting to panic.

I'd advise selling out earlier. Xmas post is dreadful and an awful lot of parcels get lost. Not something you want to be dealing with at that time of the year, unless you're a regular and aren't phased by complaints. Special delivery does seem to have lower 'missing' rates than normal, so only offer that when time is running out.

I'm sure funny baby outfits are mean in some way, but sooooo cute!! I'm sure they'll be popular.
