TalkTalk 1471 service being charged 13p per second?

Have you checked your bill and seen charges for "CLI Recall" charged at 13p per second and wondered what its for? Its happening a lot when you dial 1471 (a FREE service!) and the regular automated voice, advising you of the last caller number and time of call, just doesn't happen! Instead, it automatically dials the last number without you even knowing the details of that! AND you are charged 13p per go, even when you hang up immediately after realising your 'phone is dialling out! TalkTalk ARE aware of the fault/situation BUT are still insisting that you have used the number 3 option to redial last call when you haven't! How very unfair and costly! How much money are the company making on this scam, I wonder? Have you been affected, I know lots have!? :mad:

Quick fix? Get a Caller Display unit and stop dialling 1471.

OP, if you check out the TT Members Forum, this is a known fault and will be sorted out by the online CS people if you create a post there. You'll probably have to wait a day or so for a reply but they're generally very good with sorting out problems - far better than the so-called telephone support!
