itunes 10.0.1 burning bug

Options
Hi there,

I cannot burn a copy of a playlist that I burned before 10.0.1, msgs says " "the songs in this playlist will not fit on one audio cd".

I shaved some time of a song (using "options") to no avail, I even removed a song from the playlist and still get the same issue.

Anyone else got a similar issue or now anything about this?

Cheers.

PS Running Windows XP and the CD is a 700mb 80min RDK CD-R80, as I always use.

Quite simply, if the length of the audio CD you're creating is longer than the 80 minute capacity of the CD which is around 16-19 songs (also remembering the 2 second gap between each track) you can't burn it as an audio CD. If the MP3s etc come to more than 700MB in size, you can't burn them all as a data disc.
  • I know that! I burnt the playlist a few weeks ago fine, it hasn't changed. I have even removed a song to bring it down to 75mins - still won't burn.
  • I thought I'd copy it to a new playlist and start removing tracks to see if I could identify one track that maybe was causing the problem. So copied all to a new playlist, then verify problem exists by attempting to burn the full playlist - but it works!!!! Weird.
