Tis very quiet in here today.

Cyclura - fingers crossed on the house

Tenmah - Are you going to go have a look at the flat?

Doomy - Well done on the run. What's for dinner?

I'd planned to do a pork, apricot and apple tagine but the pork hasn't defrosted fully so I'll do it tomorrow instead. Might just have to send a small child to the chippy :D

DD1 wants her bedroom furniture moved around tomorrow....the thought of what we might find underneath it fills me with dread...things do to die in her room.

I shall be unearthing my card making stuff this coming week to start on the chirstmas cards (and I shall find the peel offs I promised Claires DS - sorry they've taken so long)....I need inspiration.

Evening all. Hope everyone has had a good day. I am looking forward to an evening of mindless telly and pizza washed down with a couple of glasses of vino.

Evening. I've been with mum all afternoon till she was too tired and needed to go to bed. (For those that don't know, she was told yesterday she has a tumour in her lung). Amongst all the things she's worrying about are her finances, which is one thing I can help her with, but as I know nothing about mortgages I'm having to do a bit of research. I really don't know how she'll manage for 28 weeks on £79 a week and there doesn't seem to be anything else. I've asked on the benefits board though and from here I know enough to be able to deal with asking for payment breaks and to go interest only and stuff.

Anyway, not sure how much I'll get online as I'm at dad's, and he has funny ideas about not being glued to a laptop 24 hours a day...

Ames, big hug from me sweetheart xx Love to your Mum too.
does she have any insurance against sickness on her mortgage payment?
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Lou, no insurance, she said it was too expensive. Mind you, she's been a heavy smoker for 40 years so they probably wouldn't pay out anyway. Thanks for the hugs x

My head hurts. I did my readings and watched a film I missed when I wasn't at uni Thursday and Friday. Have also started printing next week's readings but I'm out of colour ink so it won't print....GAH! Need to get ink cartridge that'll last a kajillion years cos it's never used....Also re-stocked out of Boots...spent just over £50 and got just over a tenner in points...had to bin the Herbal Essences because it's made my hair super-greasy and limp and generally skankificated, so I'm back to John Frieda's stuff for brunettes.

Yes we will be going and viewing on Monday and I might drive round there tomorrow to have a quick look as well.

I have been crafting this afternoon - 6 Christmas cards made. Just stopped for tea but now going back to make a couple more.
