Morning all :wave:
Feeling all bright and breezy this morning, went out for a lovely family meal last night, slept well and feel really refreshed today.
Had a gorgeous fabric sample arrive this morning so about to measure up to see how much I need to make new curtains and cushions for the living/dining room.
DH has man-flu so is grumping about going back to bed...trouble is the cat beat him too it and is laying, starfish style across the middle of the bed.

Morning All
Have just put up a voile curtain that has LED lights incorporated in it - looks lovely especially at night time. We had one before and have been looking everywhere for a replacement and finally found one.
My daughter and I were discussing moving yesterday and were looking on the internet for ground floor flats (as she can no longer manage stairs easily) and have found one we really like - eek. I would love to move but the logistics and the money it takes is a really scary thought. It is more rent but would be doable but would mean tightening our belts (yet again!). We are going to view it on Monday!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Morning everyone~! Or, almost afternoon.
Spent some time with an autistic girl I care for this morning. We went to playzone, so I'm thoroughly shattered. =D It was good fun though, she's giggling more and communicating with us, so it's exciting to see her make those baby steps~!
Doomy, a night out... I think we're supposed to be having one of those tonight for a friend's party. I'll be on the water. xD; Cheap and Calorie-free!
Reya~! Hi! Welcome. I think... I might just make myself a cup of coffee before I go into town to do choresy things. ^^;
SUZY - Get that house cleaned! =P
Pooky - Hiii, that's so creative of you. I'm still trying to get my head round this 'make do and mend' and 'craft' stuff - what is that?! Lol.
Tenmah - Moving's always such a big step, but if it makes life easier, then it's always worth it, isn't it?! ^^;
Off into town now, armed with a cheque to deposit from my carer job, and a gift voucher for Waterstones/HMV. =D Where will it be?!0 -
ollie - stick with the vodka, thats *almost* calorie free

Yeah you are right Ollie. Apart from no stairs, it has a garden and parking and gas central heating - which are the main criterias I want. The only thing it won't have is extra storage (like a loft) and we do have a lot of stuff that we currently store up there. I would get rid of it all as I am not into keeping things, apart from Christmas decorations, but my daughter won't get rid of anything!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j
