hp pavillion dv2000 spare battery

Is this battery any good? (part number is 367759-001 so obviously not the sae as you quoted)

Although it mentions DV2000 in the title it doesn't actually mention it in the list of compatible models but might be worth following up.




Edit: If the 367759-001 part number is an equivalent then an ebay search opens up more possibilties. See here


Edit2: Probably no good as can't see any equivalence between this list and this.

sorry no as the battery connection is in a different place and wouldnt connect properly as the battery connection on my laptop is in the centre as your one is at the end ! the correct one is in the usa hp site but shipping to the uk cost a lot!! i wonder it there anywhere here does them ? i also like 12 cell battery longer battery life

Ok, I just phoned a place and gave the part number in the first post i.e. 417006-001 and they had nothing so I gave model of laptop i.e. DV2000 and they said the battery part number is 417066-001 (and looking back to one of my HP links it says the same there). Anyway they have it in stock (they don't have the 12 cell one part no. 417067-001).

It's £45 + £10 del +VAT (on the total I expect).

I rang the sales enquiries number and they gave a call ref 1706054 so if you quote that they should pick up the details straight away.

Incidentally, I did a search for 417066-001 in google and got this (Danish?) site ( look for DV2000,click photo of battery for better view, click next photo again for better still) which confusingly lists it as an 8.8Ahr 12cell. Haven't converted price but if they have their part numbers muddled perhaps they are selling a 12 cell at 6 cell price. Might be worth investigating if they post to UK (and it's not too dear).
