No I can't see that it would make any difference. Saw the same car again today outside the property, whereas before they were happy to let themselves in through secured windows, they banged on the door and threw stones at our windows. Presumably in an attempt to get us to go and open the door. Unsure whether to bother reporting that to the Police unless it happens again. Guess that could indicate they've been rattled by the Police? Unfortunately chances are they would know it's us that complained as we're the only people living in this set of flats at present.Did you contact them again after you had found the details on the net?0 -
The Police have no time for these sorts of crimes........
The budget has hit them hard and now you'll be lucky for them to keep the local nut away from you!
Lock yourselves up, wonder if all Camel back will need to lock himself up, will he be losing his Police officer outside his front door?0 -

Imagine people complaining to Paypal about poor service requesting a refund :rotfl:scotsman4th wrote: »I've just had a money making idea that involves baseball bats and ebay.0 -
I'd like to have read this thread thinking it was a bit of a joke... but
The car next door to me has expired tax (and has been such since mid 2009).
It was on the road until about 6 weeks ago, before being moved on to the driveway.
The police would drive down our road AT LEAST once a day (sometimes twice, and often at night) for weeks and weeks on end (presumably to check that it was still off road).
They would drive down, turn around (cul de sac), wait a while, and drive off.
I mean, what Police force in this country has time for that?!?!?! (Surrey Police BTW).0 -

May I add, I've been there, I've reported things I've seen and nothing has been done - I have reported my property being damaged - nothing has been done.
The Police before the recent new budget had limited resources as well as bigger crimes to conduct an investigation against - so your petty crimes which these in this thread are classed as, will unlikely get any attention unless the Police force dealing with it are having a slow/quite week.
If you feel that the Police have not treated you fairly or you feel they should be doing more about something you have reported, ring your local Police force's non-emergency number, which can be found online on Google or your phone book and request to speak to a 'Duty Inspector' sometimes they are very busy and tied up in Police custody, so you may need to leave your details for a call back from one.
If after speaking to one and raising your concern's you still feel you are not happy with the service received, you are entitled to make a formal complaint to the named Police forces Professional Standards Department, depending on how serious your complaint is it will either be you need to write and it will be investigated or you will be interviewed by a Police Inspector personally and asked to sign a 'Witness statement'
After the force has investigated your complaint, if you still remain unhappy you can then contact the IPCC - Independent Police Complaints Commission.
They will they review the complaint an deem what action to take forward.0
