Quite disappointed. Sorry, but long, pointless rant ahead. You've been warned!
Ordered shoes on Priceless Shoes website and had them delivered. Were the wrong size, so took them into store to return them (as it states I can do on advice slip which came with shoes).
The person in the store only refunded me the cost of the shoes - not the postage. Queried it, and apparently it's their 'policy' (not mentioned anywhere I could see in the ordering process). Fair enough, she can't do anything about it so I requested she cancel the refund and I took them back home.
Did some further reading, and realised it states in their Ts and Cs they made me abide by that I would get the WHOLE sum back. Phoned them up, had to mention the Ts and Cs, as well as my rights under the DSRs for her to refund me the postage. I then had to take the bloomin' shoes (which came in an extremely oversized box) back again into the store, to get the cost of them refunded!
So, Got the refund done in-store and that went through same day but the refund of the postage apparently needed to be put onto a spreadsheet - which gets settled at the end of the week, then processed within 5 working days?! so a rather large gap between the separate refunds.
Grr. Quite annoying. Seems a very unprofessional and 'unrehearsed' process for such a large (now part of Barratts Shoes) organisation.
