O/T Can Someone Help Me With A Quidco Question? x

thank-you all so much for explaining. at least now i understand Quidco lol.
xxanother day another GRABBIT!0 -
I had only 28p coming from Quidco, Paypal took 21p, so I received a grand total of 7p. They may actually charge as they do for Ebay sales, 3.5% + 20p, making mine 3.5% of 28p = 1p, +20p. I can't see why Paypal should get a cut of my cashback, whether it's £50 or 28p, so I switched to BACS and it now goes straight to bank. To be honest if it had been a larger amount I might not have realised how much Paypal were taking, but 21p from 28p certainly opened my eyes, and taught me to see sense!0

Paypal help poor kids in Africa.
Pay up unless you're mean.0 -
I usually get an email from Quidco when I've been paid. Some people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0

What an illogical post!
Many, many organisations help charities. The banks certainly do. But their donating to charity doesn't mean for one second that they don't make enormous profits, nor that they are ethical in other ways.
The poster doesn't need to 'pay up' - she doesn't owe them money. The point is that they take a huge cut (two thirds) of a very small amount of cash. They may well help poor kids in Africa, but don't kid yourself that those two thirds went to charity. I'd imagine it's a very small percentage.
I'd much rather take all the cash owed to me - and choose to donate 10% to charity - than line the pockets of Paypal's shareholders who probably donate a far smaller amount!
Your post really is very illogical, suggesting that the poster is mean because s/he'd rather use a bank than paypal. You have no idea how much s/he donates to charity.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Ahh this has cleared up this for me too, i was wondering the same thing!! xx0

So you'd rather have a couple more p in your bank account than help some poor kid in Africa get his good eyesight, his school, his good health?0

Who cares if Paypal gets a couple of p from you, they are also the best way to get help to poor African kids0
