Paypal charge you for accepting this payment, use a bank account so you get it all, not Paypal take a share. Caught that way myself, so I switched to BACS.
Do you know how much they charge, please? (Thank you)

I had only 28p coming from Quidco, Paypal took 21p, so I received a grand total of 7p. They may actually charge as they do for Ebay sales, 3.5% + 20p, making mine 3.5% of 28p = 1p, +20p. I can't see why Paypal should get a cut of my cashback, whether it's £50 or 28p, so I switched to BACS and it now goes straight to bank. To be honest if it had been a larger amount I might not have realised how much Paypal were taking, but 21p from 28p certainly opened my eyes, and taught me to see sense!

I usually get an email from Quidco when I've been paid.

    What an illogical post!

Many, many organisations help charities. The banks certainly do. But their donating to charity doesn't mean for one second that they don't make enormous profits, nor that they are ethical in other ways.

The poster doesn't need to 'pay up' - she doesn't owe them money. The point is that they take a huge cut (two thirds) of a very small amount of cash. They may well help poor kids in Africa, but don't kid yourself that those two thirds went to charity. I'd imagine it's a very small percentage.

I'd much rather take all the cash owed to me - and choose to donate 10% to charity - than line the pockets of Paypal's shareholders who probably donate a far smaller amount!

Your post really is very illogical, suggesting that the poster is mean because s/he'd rather use a bank than paypal. You have no idea how much s/he donates to charity.

So you'd rather have a couple more p in your bank account than help some poor kid in Africa get his good eyesight, his school, his good health?
