It is a bit of a culture shock, isn't it! My mate (from Darlo) passed out in the tube one morning on the way to work (suited and booted). Came round three stops later with people stepping over him!!

Conversely, me and OH went to Newcastle a couple of years ago (OHs first time) and she said she couldn't believe how nice and friendly people were


Unfortunately, in your line of work, London is the place if you really want to get on, making it incredibly difficult to get a break. Catch 22 really.

Vets can give a b!!!h a contraceptive jab now... our vet preferred doing that than spaying.... not sure how much it is cos we never got round to doing it, but might be an idea (obviously not til she comes off heat).
