It is a bit of a culture shock, isn't it! My mate (from Darlo) passed out in the tube one morning on the way to work (suited and booted). Came round three stops later with people stepping over him!!
Conversely, me and OH went to Newcastle a couple of years ago (OHs first time) and she said she couldn't believe how nice and friendly people were
