hi all, I am in need of some tea, I'm freezing!

I've come home to Lewis to do some dog-sitting for my mum, and the electric went off (scheduled) at 10 this morning so I've come into Stornoway do some errands and am sitting in ..... Leabharlainn nan Eilean Siar (!) to get warm and dry out.

    (Western Isles Library to you)

MY OH rang me last night, he managed to sell the car and include another smaller car in the sale so we've got money for Christmas AND money to pay off my Dad so I'm well chuffed.

hope everyone is having a good day and ((((anniestar)))) I managed to do that same thing with an appointment to see the Oral Surgeon at the hospital last year so I know how you feel!

  • I roast chunks of pumpkin in olive oil. Then gently fry some onions. I then make the soup with chicken stock, the roasted pumpkin and onions. season with salt, pepper & ground nutmeg.Simmer until it smells yummy. Liquidise or push it through a sieve. Serve with a swirl of cream.
