Hi,
Had a problem with INR for the second time in a few months – anyway let the seller know – they gave me a refund straight away, unlike the last time when the other seller made me wait 3-4 weeks so they could claim at the same time…
Any who, then gave positive feedback, and 5 stars for communication but nothing else, as I can’t really comment on any of the other things except possibly the postage which I was happy to pay….
They just sent me a really narked message. I honestly though that if I left the rest of the stars blank they wouldn’t cast a shadow on their account have I misunderstood this?
They seem to be acting as though I’ve done something really bad, but I thought that was right….
Their feedback isn’t great – a few things seem to not arrive (or not be quite right) – but they sell a lot…
I have only ever once left a neutral feedback, and the seller was a pain in the bottom, and kept telling me conflicting things about the purchase….
Have I done something really awful for their DSR thingies????

leaving stars blank does not impact on them at all, it sounds like you've come across a rather poor seller.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. No, you haven't, but they probably think they are a good seller and are getting defensive about their feedback, never knowing that they are really in control of what they do.
It's when the rose-tinted goggles come off that the problems start for them. I wouldn't waste any more time on them myself."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Out of interset - what did their message say? Did they say you left them low stars?? I am not sure what they are complaining about?0

the gist of it was they said was it's unfair their stats take a hit when it wasn't their fault the item didn't arrive, so thanks for nothing....
and yes it's not their fault the item didn't arrive - hence the positive feedback i gave them - but they shouldn't be snotty that i didn't rate them 5 for things that i can't comment about.
i thought i was being nice leaving feedback for INR in the first place - it wasn't personal i am a 50/50 feedback type of person...

I would reply to them and simply ask in what way their stats were hit. Tell them you left no stars so it will have no impact on their 'stats'.
You don't have to do this but I would - simply to prove/explain/educate them!0
