Family-friendly hotel in Kent with Tesco Clubcard vouchers?

Hi,
I may be being a bit too specific, but will see.
We've got some Clubcard vouchers to use up. Am planning a trip to Howletts or Port Lympe (is there much to choose between the two?) in Kent.
Would be nice if we could incorporate an overnight stay.
Problems I have...
1. I can't find how to search for a hotel in Kent on the Tesco Clubcard website.
2. Are hotels a good use of the vouchers, or are they the sort of thing where you can get significantly better prices online. We'd be staying out Saturday night.
3. We have 4 small children (oldest is 6) so would ideally want some sort of family room / joined rooms, etc.
Thanks in advance,
Jim

Alternatively, if anyone's got any better ideas between, say, Oxford and Canterbury (avoiding Herts/Essex)?0

If you go to the club card side for hotel breaks, on the left is a box to click on UK and it brings up the hotel chains avaialable, eg. Best Western. Click on that and then the terms and conditions to check out which hotels in the chain are excluded from the deal.

These are Best Western Hotels, see which you like and then check that its not excluded

Their 4 hotels near Canterbury:

Cant see any of them on the excluded list.0 -
Actually Jimmy, Ive started checking them out for a long weekend break - some of the prices are very good. I like Best Western, always found them friendly and a lot of the hotels take dogs, which we always need as we go everywhere with ours.0

Thanks, that's a good starting point.
On the online booking form they have the facility to have one room with 2 adults and 4 children. But whenever I try with more than 2 children it says there are no rooms available. I'm guessing I'll be better off phoning them.0 -
Hmmm, the Abbots Barton Hotel in Canterbury can do a room with 5 single beds and a cot. But they don't have any vacancies on 20th or 27th November.
Stade Court Hotel in Hythe do have vacancies but only for 2 children + a baby.
Might have to re-think...0 -
Well there are many other hotel chains on the tesco site (only used BW as an example) and dont forget you have to get your vouchers first.0

If you arent bothered about using vouchers have a look at some of the hotel booking sites or the hotels direct
Oh there is a thread on here started by Posh socks that says Travelodge have another £9 sale from October 28?0
