It's weird Claire. I was stressing about money but less so now, and I don't know whether I should be.

The house I'm in is okay. The people on the course are okay. But there's none of that binding together when you start because people aren't all living in the same place/ they have families/ jobs/ houses etc.

I think provided I get a part-time job I will be able to financially cope without letting my house PROVIDED I can get a job in about March. It's a big ask as my likely job is to be with a housing association or trust or council which are all cuts/cuts/cuts.

I've been looking up local groups - Boxing / Exercise /Camra / Ramblers / Books and University Societies because I need to get out and about making friends. It's much easier when you're all in halls at 18.

Enjoying the course. Still don't know whether I've done the right thing but still don't see any regeneration going on for years so couldn't have stayed as I was. I'm sure it will be okay once I get out working in a real ale bar!

Butti, as you say, studying now is no bad thing - take it one step at a time. It is impossible to be certain exactly what the situation will be, so we will just keep our fingers crossed.

Definitely go find some socialising - what else is being a student about? ;)

Tidy the house (that's my elephant)
