in Credit cards
Well I have been having fun trying to get the correct information to be seen on my credit file.
It has been 2 years trying to sort this out.
History
Had a credit card, paid off in full in Oct 2007 and closed account. A certain bank didnt close it till Oct 2009, so I had some history after which appeared as missed payments and then 18 months of "not advised" until Oct 2009 when closed off.
After being through the FOS, this bank agreed to "amend the above account to show closed October 2007" EXCELLENT
so it should have wiped out the 18 months of not advised plus some credit history and show closed.
Well if only so simple, they have basacially moved the finish date to October 2007 whilst including the "not advised" information.
After speaking to credit ref agency they couldent see the problem, I did ask for the raw data that this bank sent to them advising on what to do.
1stly they said
We were advised to close the Account Oct 2007
So I asked why havent they.
They then said that they were advised to rollback credit history to Oct 2007 and show closed
Which one was it? She kept trying to explain the same thing but wouldent tell me or show me something from the bank detailing what they were advised to do.
Bunch of jokers all round.
