    Quite true. It is each person's duty to understand the animal welfare aspects behind the 'meat', to avoid being completely selfish. To continue eating meat, it is only fair to witness its origins and decide from that whether we should continue.

    In the last two years I have turned vegetarian as a result of this. I have also noted that in recent years PETA literature has become less 'gory', with only the odd article on factory farming in their magazine, which I hope will mean that it will appeal to a wider audience. :beer:

    Hi, I am very new and this is my first post but I found this website where you get free PETA2 stickers and a dvd, it is an American site but they do deliver to UK, I belive it's aimed at vegetarians as it says helping animals, also after you fill in the form there is a rather interesting video on reasons why you should be vegaterian,hope it's ok

    Great of you to post but you will get a lot of abuse on here, they dont like us veggies.
  • I'm veggie, have been for years, but I am not a fan of peta - they force their opinions a little too aggressively for my tastes.

    Still interested in knowing how many people are veggie though, 'cos of course we are the most sensible and kindest of people on the planet and it would be nice to be in good company.:A
    If anything I say starts to make sense, PANIC!

    Thank you for the support guys....as for the forceful nature of peta...there r free stickers involved lol....I think I may watch the dvd before allowing my children do...just in case.
