Can anyone help me?
I have recieved a letter from Mackenzie Hall saying they are looking for me to discuss a personal matter. Their is no indication of what the personal matter is. After doing my research I have found out that they collect old debt from 6+ years ago.
Can anyone advise the best way to deal with these people or has anyone had an experience with them so I can get the heads up on what to do?
Do I pay up or fight the battle as its over 6 years ago and should have been written off?
Thanks
H.

If it's over 6 years there is no "battle" as such, you just write to them telling them politely to sod off!I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0

Yep, send the the barred letter, just serach for it and check they haven't got a CCJ against you for it. If they have, then it's pay up time."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

But to be honest, until they write to you clearly saying what it is about, I would probably ignore them.
They may just be looking for somebody with the same/similar name.
Mackenzie Hall that a lot. Send out "fishing" letters to multiple people for the same debt, hoping that one will "bite".Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
