Can anyone advise approximately what to expect for refund.

Loan amount £4,000 x 60 months.

The loan was taken out in December 01 and settled in full in January
2003 early.

The monthly payments were £150 per month of which £36.92 was ppi.
It was single premium of £1,302.

Can anyone enlighten me on calculations figures for refund please.

Hopefully someone will be along to take a look at this for you, sorry i am not the one for calculations.

They may require more details but will let you know, but basically just to give you an idea, you should receive every penny of the ppi, interest plus 8% of what a court would award to date.

Someone will confirm i'm sure, good luck.;)

Well done! How long did it take wth Black Horse? I submitted a claim and have had an acknowledgement. I called them yesterday and they said all claims were on hold - however nothing in the letter to explain this.

I sent letter on 31 July got response 16 September and now awaiting payment

Hi

I requested etails of loan from Blackhorse on 29th Sept, received details that showed we had paid PPI up front from the loan and was being charged monthly payments of £87.56 + interest. Loan was taken out in 2003 and early settled in 2004. Send a letter back claiming PPI payments, heard nothing from them so called to be advied that letter recieved but all claims on hold as they and other financial companies have gone to the high court on the 8th Oct to contest against these claims, therefore. all claims are on hold for a further 8 weeks . Does anyone know anything abouth this

HI, I put my claim in 28th September. I was told several times that they had sent acceptance slips on 8th October upholding my claims. I have today found out that the slips weren't sent out and they have put a hold all on all claims. They will not give any information as to when the situation will change....they didn't mention on hold for a further 8 weeks. I have today contacted my manager at LTSB and he suggested I speak to the FOS which I have done. They will write to LTSB on my behalf when the 8 week period from 28th September has lapsed.
