            Seems an unnecessarily extreme measure to take for a relatively minor issue. I certainly don't see it causing problems enough to justify that.
 Also as Premier says, sometimes it is appropriate.
 If someone posts in error, then other users can point it out to them. That is part of posting on a forum. If necessary it can be suggested that they start a new thread, or if appropriate a BG can move the posts into one for that person
 If it was to be implemented board wide, then it would cause problems with some old longer running threads that are only posted on occasionally. It would then get extremely difficult having to implement some system that manually exempted particular threads.
