Kenwood FP691 repair

I've been given a Kenwood food processor with loads of accessories, it's model FP691.
Can anyone recommend how to repair the motor on these things please - we've not had one before? Or anyone selling kits to do so? As it's one we've been given we've tried the basics like changing the fuse etc to no avail (although the previous owners had a 5amp fuse in it, not the 13amp as it should have been)....the motor is no longer working.
Cheers.
