Demonstration Against Uni Cuts

The NUS and UCU are holding a demonstration in London on the 10th Novemeber 2010 over the proposed cuts to Universitys in England, Scotland and Wales.
My union is running a trip to London on that day to join in...check your union to see if they are too.

Students could start by protesting to get their university away from NUS! They do nothing but rip off universities, taking away money that could be used to fund sports and club activities.

Whilst I don't agree with the severe cuts to universities, we all have to take a hit with these cuts, and students have been having it reasonably good for a while now. Tuition fees do not cover the cost of a university degree, far from it.
