Best CC for me

in Credit cards
Hi folks, just wondering if I could pick your brains a bit.
I'm just off the phone to barclaycard who I've had a CC with for nearly 20 years. I always pay my CC off each month and probably forget and miss it about once a year. I normally just phone up and they refund it but I phoned tonight and the guy in the off shore call centre wouldn't do it so I told them I would like to shut the account. I have done this before and expected to be put through to someone who would sort it. However, the guy shut the account and that's that. Seems a bit mad but for the sake of £13 they have lost the £300 - £1000 I normally put through it a month.
Anyway, just looking for a replacement. I'm just looking for a CC that I can use in addition to my DC. I don't really want to spend everything on it, I normally use it most for online transactions.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Dave

Do you pay the balance in full every month? If you do then why not look into some of the reward cards? There is plenty of information around MSE and if your using the card a lot it makes sense to get something back. That's how I see things anyway.0

With missed payments on your credit file, you may struggle to get a cashback / reward card.
You may have been a little hasty.
Usually best to close a credit card account after you've put the replacement in to operation.0 -
LOL, try the Money Supermarket pre-app thing and see what they say, you may find you've been a bit hasty in present credit conditions."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0
