New Focus tyres needed

I need to replace the front off side tyre on my car, having just recently purchased it second hand the tyre looks like it had a slow puncture. It is a Focus Edge 1.8 '54'.

Paying closer attention to the tyres I noticed that the front o/s is 205/50R16 87H and front n/s 205/50R16 91W. Rears are both 205/50R16 87V

I am not a car expert but my thoughts are that I should probably change both tyres to ensure consistency.

Therefore my question is which tyres should I get and which company is best to use? From reading other threads Toyo seem quite a popular and well priced choice. I am also looking for them to be fitted too. I think they should be 87V too, if someone could confirm this for me.

Your thoughts would be most appreciated. Thank you for reading.

Wouldn't worry too much. The difference is the speed rating but TBH, they're all well above the maximum speed limit in the UK anyway.

As above both are above speed rating you will be going. I would still replace both though. Have a search for Camskill on google cheap tyres and go for a speed rating off one you are taking off. I recommend Toyo proxes tr1s very decent. On that site leave the speed rating as any and you will find them.
  • Why don't you check if there is a local tyre shop that does repairs. If they can fix it it will probably cost about a tenner - if not buy a new tyre from them and they shouldn't charge you for checking it out - if they're decent they probably won't charge you even if they can't repair it and you don't get a new tyre from them.
