Hi all, I have been looking for contact details for London Weighting for some time now but have been unable to find anything online, would anyone on here be kind enough to supply either an address or phone number for them as I made a claim a few months ago and have still not heard anything from them and I am now desperate to get hold of them to ask why they haven't been in contact.

I thought London Weighting was an allowance paid to certain public sector employees for working in London. You should talk to your pay office/HRThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Yes it is but sadly the company wont get back to me with the details and it was a temp contract so I have no way of finding out London Weightings contact details0

London Weighting isn't a company. You cannot contact them - they don't exist.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

But that's the point, it is not a company, it is an allowance paid by the people who employed you - if it was part of the contractLife is too short to drink bad wine!0

In which case you need to speak to the people who employed you.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

no offence im not asking who they are as i know who they are and yes they do exist they are a government organisation, when you work for a company and are entilted to london weighting you either have to contact london weighting and apply for it or the company contact them on your behalf, i know i was entilted to it even london weighting said so when i spoke to them but i have not heard anymore from them which is why i am asking for their contact details0

My company pay a 'London Weighting', it's an amount that I understand is pretty much 'made up', no-one sets it, no-one has to contact anyone in order to receive it, we don't contact anyone on the employees behalf, nothing like that, because there is no such organisation that we have ever heard of.0

again no offence but i HAVE spoken to london weighting i mean how are they going to decide who gets it and who doesn't? and what amount to pay who? there is such organisation but normally only people in HR have access to it, so please stop trying to say they do not exist as i no 100% they do0

Maybe they are like secret services and remain hidden and HR got a special red phone to contact them. And if a HR person talks about it he/she will get shot lol.
