Thanks Pennywise - I slept like a log for a change
. Hope you did too.
Ooh HWG - your bank likes to tease you - at least you know the figure in advance and can start number crunching.
PAYDAY!!!
I'm about £200 down on last month however - but never mind. Next month I only get SMP which is about £500
but we are not thinking of that just now...........
Right! All the money in all the right places and enough left for DD's = £130 spare.
I have transferred £50 of this straight into the scared fund
(Total now £185.32). I have left £80 as I need to buy new decorations for the Christmas tree (DD ate/destroyed/hid them all last year), my mums Christmas present(or voucher if I can' decide), and some gift tags and wrapping paper. Whatever remains will go into the fund.
I still have around £230 to come in child benefit/tax credits so all in all looking quite rosy!
. I just wish I was confident to pay some of this spare cash off my cards and see some figures dropping - but they will in good time.
3 items on ebay - 2 have bids!
They end on Saturday morning.
Santa's coming soon!! Ho! Ho! Ho!.......

Great news on the pay arriving and your soooooo organised, last month i paid as much off the cards as possible then ran short and used up savings this month a little wiser putting lots into savings and pay off cards nearer payday which is coming early in December. It's actually 3 weeks until payday again for me OMG i know mine will have to last longer but DH doesnt get paid until last day of the month whatever so only have to wait usual for his.

Thanks guys!
Oh No! Weigh-in in the morning
"Please don't be fatter, Please don't be fatter!"
Spent £19 on some nice christmas ornaments today which should fill some gaps when the tree goes up - didn't mind spending this as they will hopefully last for years (as long as I keep the kiddiewinkles on a lead).
No more spends today - However I did do my ASDA big shop (humongous shop more like) to be delivered on Saturday. This clocked in at £102.79 but I stocked up on baby food and nappies so don't feel too stressed about this. I also used a £5 off £100 spend voucher - how very Martin of me! :money:
Just did a pinecone survey so that should be £3 winging it's way to me - they sent me Luncheon vouchers last time, wonder if they will again.
Night all -

Hi BR
Can't remember how I came to lurk but I did.
Just seeing that you are on a diet, I have to agree with someone else that you are not actually eating much now especially fruit/veg.
I am trying to follow Slimming World!! A typical day's meals for me would be:
Breakfast - 2x Quorn Sausage, Beans, Mushrooms, Tomato, Egg - all fried in FryLight
Lunch - Home made soup with 2 x wholemeal bread, Activia yoghurt or Jacket Potato and Beans or Cheese or Chilli
Tea - Spag Bol or Chilli or Slimming World chips & Quorn Sausage or Mash, Beans & Meat Free Thing or Roast
Snacks - Apples, Bananas, Yoghurts,
You can also have up to 15 sins a day although they recommend about 10 - this is enough for a Breakaway and a bag of Wotsits/Quavers.
With eating all that I can lose about 2lb a week, people who have lots to lose (over 3 stone) usually lose 7lb in their first week.
There is a support thread on here which is good and people help you with meal ideas.
It's not a diet, more a way of life. Even when I am not following it I tend to cook with Fry Light.
Hope you don't mind me butting in. Keep going on the moneysaving!!

Morning BR, well done on the weight loss, could do with dieting myself, i can see me staring in Jan as at the moment there is just too much going on and would be something else to thinkl about and don't think i could cope.

I would loooooooove to be down to 11st 4lb by Christmas HWG - but we shall see! How hard is it to diet at this time of year though with all the goodies shouting at you every where you turn!
