Old passbooks found

I've just found three old passbooks with cash in the balance.
One is for Woolwich Building Society Share Account
It is in my married name and as trustee for my child - now 23 years.
and the others are Abbey National Instant Saver in my married name and one in married name for my other child - now 21 years.
1. So am I right, Abbey is now Santander?
2. What is Woolwich B.S. now?
3. My passport is now in maiden name, not married name as on passbooks. Would my divorce paper from the Court suffice as ID?
4. Now my children are adults, am I still Trustee, or do they have to produce ID of their own to extract funds?
Thanks in advance for all advice.

Yes, Abbey are now Santander and Woolwich is now part of Barclays.

How much cash was in the Woolwich account? it may have qualified for a de-mutualization share windfall.0

Thanks for the advice.
I went into Barclays today and they gave me a web address to find lost building society/bank accounts. Apparently, even though I've got the pass books, they would be deemed lost and not live.
So if it helps anyone with ancient pass books, the web page is
mylostaccount.org.uk
You can either download forms, or complete the on-line detailed form.
At this stage they just pass on the information to the building societies/banks and say I will get an email within 12 weeks.
I don't think I qualify for any shares - only piddly amounts on each passbook, under £50. Still 20 years of interest if they can trace them.0 -

These old passbook accounts paid virtually no interest - something like 0.1%.0 -

I don't understand. I just got an email back from lostaccounts saying Abbey have no records of there being any accounts in any of my names. But I'm sitting here with the passbooks and cash in them.
It's telling me to go through some appeal process and to pick up leaflets from the branch.
Can't I just take the passbooks into branch and get them to do the paperwork? I'm hopeless at all this.0 -

If you take the books to a Santander branch, they should be able to either look up the account or send the books off to someone who can do this.0 -

Get some scanned copies before they go anywhere, however "Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."
