  • Morning all, I spoke to teh girl who did my application this morning and she has said that my application is in the offer queue. This should take between 5-10 days. Then the offer (fingers crossed) should be produced and sent to my solicitor. I guess for the next week I need to be patient. I just want a decision and for all this waiting to be over. I am happy however with the service from the Woolwich so far, :T
  • Hey Ghost Dog, How are you getting on with your mortgage. As im also doing a s.o mortgage I feel that we have something in common. Hope all is progressing well.
  • Hiya.... :D

Still here and still waiting! Thanks for asking

Checked with HA last Friday to see if the surveyor had "done his business" but no joy there. HA have promised to let me know as soon as this has happened. :T

Looks like we then join the s l o w queue waiting for mortgage offers from Woolwich

Starting to think a move in January may not be so bad......we need new vertical blinds, carpets, laminate flooring etc etc so maybe the January sales..?! :rotfl:
  • You know what I think you have the right idea. The next home ware sale starts the 3rd week in December as well a whole host of other sales.
  • I'll be sharpening my elbows ready for those sales then GlasgowC!!! lol
  • Survey arranged for Thursday 16th! Yayyyyyy!!!
  • Excellent progress. I called today for an update and I am still in the offer queue which is a max of 10 working days. I was placed in the queue on Friday so I am really hoping on an offer by this Friday. I know it ain't 10 days however I need to keep positive. I will be sure to update as soon as I find out any more information.

We exchanged contracts today :j Exactly six weeks from offer accepted to completion. It was meant to happen last Friday but solicitors screwed things up.
Will (fingers crossed) be completing on 13 Dec, just in time for Xmas :j
