Unsure on stance ???

I have around 400 shares in HBOS, they came originally from the Halifax BS and Leeds BS merger. I was aware I still had them but coming across the certificate last week when doing business on other shares reminded me I need some information.
I presumed these shares would automatically be counted as Lloyds TSB share now they have taken ownership of HBOS (for what they are actually worth currently
).
Am I correct, is there any action I need to take or are they completely useless now ???

I don't think it was actually a one for one allocation, but you should have been contacted at the time of the merger if you were on the Share Register. Equiniti are the Registrars for Lloyds Banking Group shares. Their Customer Service number is 0871 384 2030 8.30am-5.30pm. They should be able to advise you what to do.0 -
Assuming these were still 400 HBOS shares after the various buybacks Halifax and HBOS did, they will have changed to 0.62 LBG shares per HBOS shares. So you would now have 248 LBG shares worth around 70p each. £174 before dealing costs.Marco12452 wrote: »I have around 400 shares in HBOS, they came originally from the Halifax BS and Leeds BS merger.
