Awaiting IVA decision...

Hi,
Firstly thank you to all that have replied to my previous posts.
We have finally taken the plunge and rang Payplan up to begin the process of an IVA.
They rang back yesterday and informed us that they think we have a good chance of getting an IVA pending the creditors decision.
Given this positive reponse what do you think the chances are of it actually going ahead?
I know this is probably how long is a piece of string type question but having to wait for 6-8 weeks for a decision seems a long way away...
Also, my husband does not know from one week to the next how many hours he will be working, which in turn donates how much he gets in wages. His minimum number of hours is 18 and we have based his wages on this (we have told payplan this). Luckily so far he has worked a lot more than this each week but now that the winter is approaching it may be that he does do some weeks at 18hrs.
Considering this when the creditors get together and they see his payslips will they accept what we have put down as his weekly wage or will they just see that he is earning a bit more and want more from us each month?
Sorry to ramble on...
Thanks....
