Whisky themed hamper, help please?

Hi there

I am hoping you creative people can help me. I am going to make a whisky themed hamper for my FIL for christmas, however I am a little stuck for ideas.

So far I have:

*Full sized bottle
*Super small minis
*whisky jam
*nice glass
*whisky honey
*whisky mustard

Is it possible to make flavoured whisky as you can do with vodka?

Thanks in advance

Kerry

Hi Kerry, I signed up to the Jack Daniels website and every now and again they send out freebies. It may be a bit late now but can't hurt to try. So far I have had calenders, wallets, keyrings, marinading brush etc.

    Edit:

This is the one I made for my dad, you could also get a whiskey glass and the mini jack daniels are liqueur chocolates that I got from B&M

What about adding a keyring or some playing cards....bar towels seem reasonable on ebay around £3.00...ebay may be a good place for ideas there seems to be loads of branded whiskey merchandise there....

Im not sure you can flavour whiskey...but what about some homemade truffles...flavoured of course.

whisky toffees/fudge .. I 'think' thornons had some in previously.

hat or t-shirt? There are usually loads on ebay.

How about a small christmas cake? Soak fruit in whisky instead of brandy?

  • I've seen whisky soap in the past. Might be a quirky addition. A simple search on internet should return quite a few places you can get it from.

    Also, whisky marmalade? It's lovely!

I love Irish coffees so perhaps sachets of coffee with brown sugar and cream to add to it?
