Has anyone else noticed the difference in comparison sites.
I used the one from the latest email, energyhelpline.com.
They said I would be cheaper switching to eon saver 3, it said I would save 114 a year.
I checked with two other sites and they both said it could cost me 11  more a year.
Who is right and how do we check

As Martin says, the only real way to check is to open up that speadsheet package and work it out for yourself.
However, we've often received reports of differences in comparison site outputs, coincidentally often by MSE'ers who have low post counts) but no one has yet come up with the data to prove it where it is based on inputs using kWh.
(Any other input method may induce inaccuracies as it may require estimations which may vary from site to site)
Where any difference does rarely occur, it is often easily explained and simply demonstates the user has not read the comparisn site ciorrectly.
If two sites give the same result, chances are that is the correct result.
However, if you really do think one site is giving incorrect results, post the input data here and we'll take a look.
Data required:
1. Annual consumption in kWh (including E7 split if appropriate)
2. Current supplier & tariff
3. Supply region (or first part of postcode)
4. Comparison sites used."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
