Hi
Just wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on why my camcorder display is not showing anything when I try to record.
Both the view finder and colour screen display a black screen showing only the usual display icons. I have taken the lens cover off!

Does the camera actually record anything on the tape? If not, it may the sensor which is faulty.Charlie0

Thanks for the suggestion. I've just checked and it doesn't record anything, just sound.0

Sounds like there's a problem with the sensor. Perhaps a loose connection somewhere or something more drastic _pale_Charlie0
