Lack of monitor makes it into a bad buy for me, you could probably get a local shop to give you a better spec'd machine without a monitor for the same money.

Agreed, it is a bit expensive considering what's included.
Do you need a 200Gb HDD?
    Do you need 7.1 sound?

If not, there are far better deals around. Even Dell are cheaper than that.

I don't know that Dell is much cheaper:

    Dimension E520 - £353

    No Monitor
    Intel Pentium D 915 Dual Core Processor (2.80GHz, 800MHz fsb, 2x2MB cache)
    1024MB Dual Channel DDR2 533MHz [2x512] Memory
160GB (7200rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive with 8MB DataBurst cache
    16x max. DVD-ROM Drive
Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3000
Integrated Audio with Dolby Digital 7.1 capability
    Genuine Windows XP Professional SP2
Dell Black Entry Quietkey USB Keyboard - UK/Ire (QWERTY)
Dell USB 2 Button Wheel Mouse - Black

Better CPU (?), but only half the memory, smaller HD, no card reader, no DVD writer.
Presumably the OP does not need a monitor, otherwise the Dells that come with monitors seem to represent better value. Could always flog the monitor if it wasn't wanted.
