Recipe for 100 cupcakes

Hello this afternoon I will be helping my son make 100 cupcakes and icing them and putting breast cancer aware cake toppers on for a cake sale tomorrow at school:eek:.How I get myself roped into these things I never know, but it is for an excellent cause. I usually only make batches of 24 fairy cakes and would like to make a really nice cupcake (not that i have ever had any complaints about my fairy cakes;))Anyone know of a really yummy cupcake recipe, and also don't want to put just icing onto would like to make either frosting or fondant icing but have ne idea how to make either. I cannot believe I have left it till the last min .I have a reasonably good baking cupboard , but that expensive supermarket beginning with T is not far if i need to get anything.

This one from billy's bakery new york is absolutely amazing! I have never seen people devour them as much as these ones! It has buttercream frosting on them too

I made these last night (from the Great British Bake Off runner up)

And the cake mix was super easy!
I wouldn't do the frosting for 100 cupcakes though; it is a bit time consuming in that respect. For a frosting, I would just do a simple buttercream like the icing in this post

You can use vanilla extract instead of vanilla bean paste.

Could you make a few smaller batches of different flavours - gives the consumers some variety, and gives you a bit more insurance if something goes wrong with a batch, they won't expect all 100 to look similar?
