i too went BR 27th september and have heard very little few forms to sign re ipa and life insurence then nothin it seems strange doesnt it,,,,, my wages will be goin down by around 80.00 should i inform the OR when this happens ?? seems its a waiting game ....0

ooooo, i'd forgotten about my life policy. i def want to buy that back as if i snuff it, i want to have something in place for lillte un - be organised at least once in my life (or rather death).
sure someone said it was about 50 quid to buy it from the or? is that what you're doing chez?

my husband bought his back for 50 pounds,but if you died the or would still get it until at least discharge,you could contact your insurance co and ask for it to be put in trust for your kids[that is if your oh is also bankrupt]. at least i think that is how it works.0

crumbling yep i am sending the money this week to buy back interest in my life ins i did ask the question when i rang and the OR said he not interested in it when i pay the 50 .00 he will write to life ins company and tell them it belongs back to me its only an if i die pay out no cash in value like most i thought he would say up till discharge but he said as soon as i pay the 50.00 its belongs to me.... know i should be gettin on with life but you still look for the post i still dont knpow when to start paying back my IPA signed a couple of letters to pay but had nothing back im sure i will hear soon though.......keep plodding on x0
