morning all. hope you are all ok?
my br date was 28th sept and my or phone interview 1st oct.
since then, all i've had from my or is a couple of letters to sign and send back.
so, what happens next? i feel i'm waiting for the post every day to see if the or needs anything else so that i can get it sorted (a new me - act quickly on all important matters rather than wait, struggle and think that it will get better when really it doesn't).
should i have heard something by now about any further info they need - statements etc? - or am i being too impatient as they are probably so busy and i'm just on the list to be done?

really? i haven't even sent them a bank statement! mind you, i suppose all of the info was on the form.
how odd - best go back to being laid back then as being eager to sort stuff just isn't me!
thanks x0 -

That'll be why then....you provided enough information to tell them how you finished with bankruptcy, any statements they need they'll easily source themselvesWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Hi crumbling, we went BR on 26th Aug and had the OR interview a week later. Then....nothing for about 6 weeks (I even posted a similar post as yours asking whether that was it :rotfl:) and then we got through the IPA stuff through from Moon Beever and letters from the OR about the BI in our house and saying our car is exempt. So I wouldn't worry about it

thanks jedi.
no post today apart from usual junk mail to be shredded for animal bedding.
i daresay they'll be in touch as and when they need to. just feels so weird 'doing nothing' if you know what i mean?0 -
I know exactly what you mean. You have built yourself up to go BR and then in our case everything went so smoothly and you start to worry whether something will go wrong or you should be doing something. I guess it is part of the whole range of emotions that this rollercoaster takes us on!

I went BR on Aug 19 and had my interview Sept 13 and have heard nothing - should I be worried. I'll be paying an IPA but haven't heard from anyone about that yet and I need to pay a few hundred pounds to keep my car but again, not a diddly.
How long before I give the OR a nudge or should I sit an play the waiting game and not rock the boat. None of my creditors have been notified by the OR either - think I've covered them all and so the phonecalls have just stopped - I'm hoarding all the letters as too scared to just throw them away.
To be honest, I just want to get on with paying my IPA now as the sooner I start, the sooner it will finish!
Is this an unusually long time to not hear anything?0 -
I met with our OR last week, he said he was snowed under and also the case management computer system they use was being upgraded, so they had no access to their case files online. So I wouldn't worry in your case - I'd give it at least another month before giving your OR a nudge.0

seems we're all in the same boat! i reckoned that they've all got so many cases that they're pretty snowed under. how very very sad:(
i have no idea yet about an ipa or anything but i'm really sticking to my new minimum budget as i too have mot and new tyres looming:eek: and i hope not even the offspring thinks that santa will be here this year....
glad its not just me feeling like a cat on hot bricks:) x0 -
I know apart from the worry of not hearing, I must admit I feel like a different person to I did a few months ago.
My co-op account is amazing and I love the fact that my wages go in and I have credit! Sticking to a strict budget too but have built a little emergency fund due to my IPA not being started yet - hoping to have a lovely xmas and be able to treat friends and family a little who have all been so wonderful over the last ten years or so!
I know there is still a lot to be sorted and I'll have an IPA for three years but it's a small price to pay - can't believe two months have gone by already.
This site is the best thing that ever happened to me!!0
