Toshiba Camileo problem

I have a Toshiba S20 camcorder which I bought in July this yr. Only used it 3 times. Now, when I turn it on, the screen stays black, there is just nothing there so I cant record or playback. The battery is fully charged and I havn't dropped or damaged it at all. It is under guarantee but I've tried to trawl my way through the customer support for Toshiba and it seems very complex. There is nothing in the user manual, or FAQ's on the website. I think I may be OK to take it back to ARGOS maybe they will change it, not sure, but I thought I would just ask anyone if they have any idea what the problem is & how to correct it?

Try this guy at Toshiba, Paul Hicks, he is products manager;-
Toshiba Information Systems (UK) Ltd
Tel: 01932 825166 Email: Paul.Hicks@toshiba.co.uk
However as it is under six months old and faulty, Argos should replace it.

Thanks Derrick- I will save this info for future ref as I have now taken it back to Argos. They are repairing it, not replacing. Apparently the replacement guarantee only applies if there is not a repair facility. However, as long as its fixed I'm not complaining:smileyhea A SMILE COSTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING0
