Indeed, I get it in for a service each year, don't drive the guts out of it, and don't see there being any problems.

That said, I'm going away this weekend and I've managed to get a works car for it. 1.4 Civic Hybrid. Needed the space as I've got a few passengers! Must say, I do like the look of them, so will see how they handle.

I had the old micra a few years back, loved it! If you are happy just to run it into the ground then I would, theres no point in changing if its not giving you any problems, as its very cheap to run. Stick with it until you find something that you actually want, no point in letting it go just now, you could have had £2000 from the goverment to trade it in few months back!

Hang on to your Micra until just before Christmas - that is a great time to pick up a bargain in the motor trade.

I agree with everyone's advice about keeping the Micra

I've currently got a Renault Sport Clio 197

    2.0 litre with 197 BHP

Cost's a fortune to run petrol wise (22-25mpg). The most i've had is 34mpg but i was doing 65 on the motorway lol.

Tyres for mine are £140+ each and servicing costs are high too not to mention i've just got 6 months road tax at £129.50

Sure it's quick as hell and shows a lot of cars up but i just can't justify the running cost of it. £60 a week in fuel is too much

.Does that mean we are all inbred

Indeed, I think I'll actually be keeping it. Although having another car this weekend will hopefully be a decent experience.

Thank you to everyone for your input.
