I tried to download a trial of publisher and it wont do it. It keeps saying you must have vista 86 or 60 (i have vista but dont know which)
Ive offered to do leaflets for a charity, and when i ordered my office package 4 months ago i remember it wiping off my old version of publisher, and i didnt panic as i didnt think i needed it.
TWO questions:
1. Why cant i download it?
2. Very cheeky- but dose anyone know where i can get a free download of it ?
I wouldnt ask if i wasnt desprate, but ive comitted myself and feel bad letting them down.
Thanks!

... but you can download a free trial from here.
Isn't this what the OP tried?
@OP: I can't help you with your problem, but why don't you give an open source alternative like Scribus or OpenOffice Draw a try?

Serif Pageplus is a decent alternative to Publisher. There's a free version (lite) or a full paid version for under 10 quid. If you have used previous versions of Publisher, you'll find the skills transfer very easily. You'll find it here.0
