Can anyone help?
I am looking for a wireless and/or bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The trouble is I have no idea if wireless and bluetooth are the same thing. If I do a search on say Ebay a lot more keyboards come up under wireless than bluetooth.
If there is a difference then what is that difference and how does it affect my decision?
My PC itself is in one room and I want my keyboard and mouse in another. Distance will never be more than 5 metres max.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction please.
Thank you

Yes, Bluetooth and wireless can mean the same thing. However, for your purposes make sure it says Bluetooth keyboard or mouse. Keyboards and mice described as 'wireless' or 'cordless' use a small transceiver unit which must be on the same desk or nearby to work.
Bluetooth is a short range wireless networking technology which works between different rooms. WiFi is wireless broadband.

Thank you for that. A perfectly clear and concise answer.
Now I can look for a keyboard in confidence.
